Mistake #6: Taking the Bait About the Quoted Price  E-mail |
image_24a.jpg
One of the most unethical tricks in real estate is advertising a home at a price well below its real price. Thousands of buyers get their hopes up, only to discover that the home they love was never in their price range.  Advertisements which say "price range" or "offers above" or "bidding to start from" are usually misleading. The agents will use the excuse of the "market" to cover their lies. Be very careful – financially and emotionally – when you see "quotes" about likely selling prices. Most times, it’s just a bait to lure you. Take the bait and you’ll almost certainly get hurt in one way or another.

What our Clients Say

Your professionalism and dedication enabled a quick sale. I was particularly pleased with the price you achieved and fact that you kept in touch. Your support instilled confidence during the sale process. I'm so glad our paths crossed.

H. Mallowes - Wollongong

We would like to thank you for all of your help over the past several weeks with the sale of our property. Even after you became aware we had an interested party for a private sale, you continued to assist us and answer any and all questions we had for that sale. We appreciate the courtesy you offered us and the professional attitude you maintained. Your honesty was a pleasant surprise that was welcomed. We are very thankful for all your help and time. We would have no hesitation in recommending Jason Hines to sell the property of our family, friends and work colleagues.
